🪄 Game System Overview
Introduction
The Cuco Game System is the foundation of Legend of Cuco — a scalable, phygital fantasy game engine that connects collectible cards, on-chain rewards, and player-driven treasure hunts.
This summary highlights the game’s system logic, transparency, and scalability for partners, investors, and strategic collaborators.
For full system architecture and formulas, refer to the Cuco Game System Spec (available on request).
Game At a Glance
Legend of Cuco is built around four core card forces — Keepers, Tricksters, Destroyers, and Seekers — each shaping how players collect, compete, craft, and uncover hidden vaults. Every pack contains cards that influence exploration, risk, and progression, guiding players toward Keys, Clues, Sigils, Relics, and the vault rewards tied to Cuco’s mysterious world.
The Engine
“The Engine Behind the Hunt”
Legend of Cuco is not just a fantasy TCG — it’s a phygital, prize-linked game engine that fuses pack opening, blockchain-backed rewards, and global treasure hunts.
The system balances physical/digital parity, collector excitement, token utility, and sustainable prize mechanics, all designed for long-term scalability.
Core Loop: Collect → Play → Hunt → Win
Open packs (physical or digital)
Earn or mint Keys and Sigils
Solve puzzles, collect sets, or play competitively
Unlock prize Vaults secured by smart contracts
Vault Prize System (Scalable, Transparent, Engaging)
Each Season introduces a prize-backed game layer where players can win instantly or unlock multi-tiered Vaults — Mini, Major, and Grand.
Transparent Prize Formula
We use a progressive model where the Vault scales with community growth:
Prize Pool Formula:
P = B + α × N
Where:
P = Total prize pool
B = Base guaranteed prize (e.g. $50,000)
α = Percentage of net pack revenue allocated (e.g. 35%)
N = Net revenue from packs sold
Example: Base Vault = $50,000 α = 35% N = $250,000 → Total Prize = $137,500
Vault Tiers
Instant Wins: Random pack pulls ($50–$500 prizes)
Mini Vaults: Community quests and fast puzzles
Major Vaults: Seasonal lore unlocks or competitive sets
Grand Vault: $50K–$100K+ jackpot with verifiable randomness
On-Chain Architecture
All prize logic operates through auditable smart contracts to ensure fairness and transparency.
Soulbound NFTs: Keys and Sigils are non-transferable, ensuring authenticity
Commit–Reveal Randomness: Prevents manipulation and ensures fairness
Custodial UX: Supports non-crypto users with fiat payout options
Vault Unlocks: Require proofs, set completions, or puzzle solves — not pure chance
Phygital UX — Seamless Real & Digital Integration
Physical → Digital
QR or scratch-off codes in packs
Tokens minted to custodial or self-custody wallets
Validates verified real-world ownership
Digital → Physical
Redeem digital cards for printed editions
Hologram and serial authentication for scarcity
Limited-time redemption to prevent dilution
$2–3 per-card mint fee creates revenue + scarcity
Seasons, Cut-Offs & Legacy Value
Each Season introduces new lore, packs, and Vaults.
Season Cut-Off: Vaults lock at end of season
Legacy Support: Older cards retain value via relics, cosmetics, and crafting
Progressive Vaults: Unclaimed rewards roll over into future seasons
Collector Economy: Older or expired cards preserve collectible and narrative value
Why This Matters (Investor Lens)
Scalable Engine: Prize logic and pack economics scale globally
Repeatable Model: Each season = new revenue + prize pool with stable margins
Defensible Design: Real-world + blockchain integration is difficult to replicate
Engagement Flywheel: Prize system + lore + collector mechanics drive continuous demand and retention
