❓ FAQ
Below are answers to the most common questions about the Cuco ecosystem. For anything not covered here, feel free to reach out through our official channels.
Q1 — What is Legend of Cuco? Legend of Cuco is a phygital fantasy trading card game combined with a crypto-powered treasure hunt. Players open physical or digital packs, collect treasures, play with Keeper, Trickster, Destroyer, and Keeper cards, and solve riddles to unlock vaults that hold tokens, NFTs, and real-world prizes.
Q2 — What does “phygital” mean? Phygital = physical + digital. Each Cuco card has a tangible, collectible version and a digital counterpart (NFT) that can be scanned or redeemed, linking real-world play with blockchain-based rewards.
Q3 — Do I need crypto knowledge to play? No. You can enjoy the game and collect cards without touching crypto. The blockchain layer is optional and unlocks extra rewards and vault mechanics for players who choose to engage with it.
Q4 — How do the vaults and prizes work?
Instant Wins: Packs may include QR/scratch codes redeemable for immediate token/NFT rewards.
Mini & Major Vaults: Combine specific card sets (3–6 for mini, 8–12 for major) to unlock mid- and high-tier prizes.
Grand Vault: A season headline puzzle requiring a legendary recipe (e.g., 42 cards) and/or ARG resolution that awards a major prize.
All vault payouts are governed by auditable smart contracts for transparency and fairness.
Q5 — Is this gambling? No. Cuco is a collectible game with prize mechanics. Odds are published, prizes are funded from on-chain vaults, and no-purchase-necessary entry methods will be available where legally required.
Q6 — How is $CUCO used in the game? $CUCO is the ecosystem token used to: purchase packs and services, attempt vault openings, craft and upgrade items (Sigils/Seeker upgrades), stake in guilds, and participate in governance. Certain actions burn $CUCO, creating deflationary pressure.
Q7 — What are the different card types?
Keeper — Treasures, vault triggers, artifacts.
Trickster — Traps, red herrings, misleads.
Destroyer — Chaos cards that reset or disrupt.
Seeker — Player avatars with unique abilities and synergies.
Key / Clue — Phygital/digital bridge cards used to find/open vaults.
Q8 — When are the first packs available? Season-0 (Pilot) packs will be released after the Seed Sale completes. Pilot run: 200–500 packs with instant wins and one Mini Vault. Season-1 will introduce full retail boosters, starter decks, and the initial $100K Grand Vault.
Q9 — How is fairness ensured?
No real seed phrases are ever printed.
Vaults use audited smart contracts.
QR/scratch codes are single-use and verifiable.
Odds are published before each season.
Physical anti-fraud measures: holograms, microtext, randomized collation.
Cryptographic randomness (VRF) used where appropriate.
Q10 — How often will new expansions release? Cuco grows by seasons. Each season introduces new Cuco forms, vaults, puzzles, cards, foils, and prize mechanics to keep the ecosystem fresh and collectible.
Q11 — How can I get involved early?
Join the whitelist for the Seed Sale / Presale.
Follow Cuco on social channels for lore drops and riddles.
Join the community Discord/Telegram to trade tips and team up.
Participate in Season-0 to help shape the first wave of mechanics.
Q12 — What makes Cuco different? Cuco combines high-quality physical collectibles, deep fantasy storytelling, and transparent on-chain prize mechanics — offering both tactile collecting and verifiable digital rewards. The phygital parity model ensures equal opportunity for all players.
Q13 — What kind of token is $CUCO? $CUCO is an ERC-20 token on Polygon (EVM-compatible, low fees). Total supply: 1 trillion $CUCO (fixed, non-mintable).
Q14 — What is $CUCO used for? $CUCO powers pack purchases, vault/clue access, staking, crafting, marketplace fees, and governance. It’s the primary currency for premium features and rewards.
Q15 — Can I really win six-figure prizes? Yes. The Grand Vault is designed as a headline prize (Season 1 target: $100K). As the ecosystem grows through sales, burns, and partnerships, future Grand Vaults may scale into seven figures.
Q16 — What happens when a team opens a vault? Team payouts are handled by on-chain TeamClaim contracts or agreed Team Vouchers. Large payouts require identity verification (KYC) and will follow legal/compliance procedures.
